Task Reward Privacy Policy (V1)
Last Updated: April 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Task Reward (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, apps, task platform, rewards and wallet features, withdrawal requests, appeals, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), available at https://task-reward.com.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions at https://task-reward.com/terms.
1. Who we are
The Platform is operated under the Task Reward name in connection with https://task-reward.com.
Contact:
- Support & privacy inquiries: support@task-reward.com
- Website: https://task-reward.com
- The service is online-only; no public walk-in or postal address is provided on the Platform.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information we process in connection with the Platform. It does not apply to third-party sites or services that we do not control, even if linked from the Platform.
3. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of the Platform, and limited technical data needed to operate and secure the service. Categories include:
3.1 Account and authentication
- Email address and password (stored as a one-way hash; we do not store your password in plain text).
- Email verification status, verification codes or tokens, send and attempt timestamps as needed for security.
- Session identifiers via HTTP-only cookies (and related security cookies) to keep you signed in.
3.2 Profile and onboarding
- Full legal name and related profile fields where required to complete onboarding or payouts.
- Contact or display preferences you set in your account.
3.3 Payout and wallet
- Wallet balances, ledger entries, reward and withdrawal history as shown in the Platform.
- Payout method details you provide, such as electronic wallet type (e.g. GCash or Maya) and registered mobile number (normalized for the Philippines where applicable), plus display labels (e.g. masked digits).
- Withdrawal requests, amounts, status, and related audit fields.
3.4 Tasks, proof, and review
- Task participation, deadlines, and submission metadata.
- Proof screenshots you upload, which may be stored in our systems (including as encoded data associated with your submission).
- Public URLs you submit where a task requires a link (e.g. to a post or profile), and normalized forms of those URLs for fraud and duplicate detection.
- Review outcomes, rejection reasons, and related moderation records.
3.5 Communications and support
- In-platform notifications we send you.
- Appeal threads: your statements and messages, and replies from support or administrators.
3.6 Security, fraud prevention, and abuse signals
- Hashed registration IP address and hashed browser user-agent string.
- Optional device identifier you or your client may send (subject to length and format limits in our systems).
- Risk flags, restriction or suspension events, watchlist notes, and administrative action logs (which may reference staff identifiers).
3.7 Server and infrastructure logs
- Our hosting and edge providers may process request metadata (such as IP address, timestamps, and routing information) according to their own configurations. We do not describe every provider log field here; see Infrastructure and subprocessors below.
We do not use the Platform to run third-party advertising pixels or social “like” widgets as part of this Policy’s scope. If we add analytics or marketing tools, we will update this Policy.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and secure accounts, verify email, and maintain sessions;
- operate tasks, process proof, perform manual review by authorized staff, and enforce task rules;
- calculate rewards, maintain wallet and ledger records, and process withdrawal requests (including manual approval or rejection where applicable);
- send operational, security, and service-related messages (including email verification and account notices);
- run in-app notifications about tasks, wallet, withdrawals, and account status;
- handle appeals and support threads;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms;
- comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights and safety.
Some wallet or onboarding events may be recorded automatically by the Platform when conditions in our rules are met (for example, a one-time onboarding reward when required profile and payout fields are complete). Task approval and withdrawal decisions are generally human-reviewed unless we state otherwise in product notices.
5. Legal bases (summary)
Depending on where you live, different laws may require a “legal basis” for processing. We generally rely on:
- performance of a contract (providing the Platform you signed up for);
- legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and enforcing our Terms), balanced against your rights;
- legal obligation where applicable;
- consent where we ask for it explicitly (for example, where required for certain emails or optional features).
If local law requires a different approach, we will align our practices and this Policy as needed.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Platform, including:
- session cookies to keep you logged in;
- short-lived security or verification cookies tied to email confirmation flows.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in or verification from working.
7. Sharing and subprocessors
We share personal information only as needed to run the Platform:
7.1 Infrastructure and service providers
- Cloudflare (or successor): application hosting, database, and related edge infrastructure. Data may be processed in locations Cloudflare operates for your account configuration.
- Resend (or successor email provider): sending transactional email such as verification messages.
7.2 Administrators
- Authorized staff and administrators can access user data as required to review proof, process withdrawals, respond to appeals, and enforce policies.
7.3 Legal and safety
- We may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law, protect safety, enforce our Terms, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information for money as traditionally understood. We do not share data for third-party ad targeting on the Platform as described in this version of the Policy.
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers host data. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards or contractual terms permitted by law.
9. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Certain records (including proof submissions, ledger history, withdrawal records, and abuse-related logs) may be kept longer where we have a legal, security, or fraud-prevention need. We do not promise automatic deletion of all proof images on a fixed schedule; retention may depend on operational and legal requirements.
When you ask to close your account or delete data, we will take reasonable steps within applicable law; some information may remain in backups or where retention is required.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including hashed passwords, access controls for staff, and encryption in transit (HTTPS) for browser connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- access or receive a copy of certain personal data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise rights, contact support@task-reward.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
12. Children
The Platform is not directed at children under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that threshold. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
13. Automated processing
We may use rules-based systems (for example, rate limits, duplicate URL checks, or risk scoring) to support fraud prevention and account safety. Task proof approval and withdrawal approval are not fully automated AI decisions in the current product design; human reviewers play a central role. If we introduce materially automated decision-making with legal effect, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide additional notice or controls.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on the Platform and update the “Last Updated” date. Where changes are material, we may provide additional notice (for example, via email or in-app message). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy unless applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Related documents
Our Terms & Conditions at https://task-reward.com/terms govern use of the Platform and are incorporated by reference where stated there.
